There are two things I have always been drawn to—food and photography. Food has a way of transcending barriers—cultural, social, and economic. A shared meal slows time, invites connection, and turns moments into lasting memories.

When I pick up my camera, the world shifts. I slow down, noticing the details that might otherwise go unseen—the flicker of candlelight on a table, the way steam curls from a dish, the elegance of a finely crafted cocktail. Photography allows me to preserve these fleeting details, to capture the beauty in the ordinary, and to share that beauty with others.

Food and drink are more than just sustenance—they're an experience. My photography captures that experience, helping restaurants, bars, and hospitality brands bring their vision to life with cinematic, storytelling-driven imagery—inviting guests to slow down, connect, and savor the moment.

Growing up in Wyoming, life was simple and traditions ran deep. My grandparents were always gardening, canning, baking, and quilting—and dinner wasn’t just a meal; it was a moment to gather. These roots inspired the name for my recipe blog Now From Scratch, a tribute to slowing down, savoring traditions, and creating something meaningful.

Now From Scratch has become my creative hub—a space where I combine my love for food, storytelling, and photography. It’s where I share seasonal recipes, photography insights, and my journey working with brands and creatives to craft imagery that celebrates food and drink.
