Cocktail Ingredients
- 2 oz Empress Gin noted for its natural indigo color
- 1 oz blueberry simple syrup
- 3 oz lemonade
- Fresh blueberries and a lemon twist for garnish
Blueberry Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Make the Blueberry Simple Syrup:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, water, and sugar.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until the sugar is dissolved and blueberries have started to break down, about 10-15 minutes.
Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve, pressing on the blueberries to extract as much liquid as possible. Allow the syrup to cool completely.
