Ingredients

  • 1 oz blueberry simple syrup
  • 3 oz lemonade

Blueberry Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

Make the Blueberry Simple Syrup:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, water, and sugar.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until the sugar is dissolved and blueberries have started to break down, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve, pressing on the blueberries to extract as much liquid as possible. Allow the syrup to cool completely.

Assemble the Cocktail:

  • In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Empress Gin, 1 oz of blueberry simple syrup, and 3 oz of lemonade.
  • Stir well to mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Chill and Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass to keep the drink cold and maintain a sleek presentation.
  • Garnish with fresh blueberries and a twist of lemon on the edge of the glass.
